The Handmade Sounds Bouzouki is a sample library that brings for the first time a high level of realism and real-time playability to virtual bouzouki.

Key features include:

All 4 double strings sampled on all 27 frets at various dynamic levels and with both up/down plectrum strokes.
Monophonic playback for each of the 4 strings - 4 voices max - for absolute realism.
Sustained, Hammer-On, Pull-Off, Tremolo and Glide articulations, all chromatically sampled.
Automatic or manual control of string/fret position, articulation and up/down stroke.
Real-time visual display of the fretboard.
Added major/minor and diminished chords, with all customary inversions.
Audio format is 44.1 kHz / 24 bits.

The Acoustic Edition of the 8-string Bouzouki is currently in being tested, with development expected to finish within spring of 2009. 8-string Electric Edition will follow. 6-string Bouzouki as well as Baglamas and Tzouras are in our future plans.

The sample library requires Native Instruments Kontakt version 2 or 3 installed. This is because of the extensive scripting that went into the instrument.
